What We DoNote that at this time General Meetings and User Group Meetings are being held online, and Photography Outings and Public Service Photography events are on hold due to the COVID-19 outbreak. |
General Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of each month at (unaffiliated) Chapelgate Christian Academy, Marriottsville, MD. (2nd floor). These meetings include general business and usually feature a presentation by a professional or expert speaker on various topics related to photography. Go to Map | User Group Meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of each month, January-October, at Robinson Nature Center, Columbia, MD. These meetings are more technical and are usually led by one or more of our regular members. Go to Map |
Photography Outings are scheduled most months of the year except December. We carpool to a location or event we can shoot together, or sometimes we schedule a special group trip or tour. | Public Service Photography is one of our goals. There are several opportunities throughout the year to photograph in aid of nonprofit organizations and events, including the Robinson Nature Center and Rebuilding Together Howard County. |
