We are set for an outing to the Baltimore Basilica! Meet at the Long Gate Park & Ride at 11am, Saturday, August 25th.
We plan to spend an hour or two at the Basilica (mostly inside). We will then go up to the Eutaw Place area, where there are two former synagogues in the Neo-Moorish style and one in a more modern style, to photograph the exteriors. The 1st two were designed by Jos. Sperry, who also designed the Bromo Seltzer Tower.
1. Beth Am Synagogue, 2502 Eutaw Pl.
2. (former) Oheb Shalom, 1305 Eutaw Pl
3. (former) Baltimore Hebrew Cong., Corner Madison and Robert Streets
