February DSLR User Group Meeting: What makes a great photo?

  • 21 Feb 2019
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Robinson Nature Center, Columbia, MD

The next few DSLR User Group meetings will address questions about exhibiting your work.  Whether you want to enter a future CMPG exhibit, have a solo show, or just want to know how best to get your work on the walls of your own home, we will try and answer all the questions you may have!  Topics will include how to select strong images, how to have them best printed, and framing and matting to enhance your work.

This month, we will be discussing "What Makes a Compelling Image to Exhibit?".  We'll look at "rules" of composition and how to apply them to your images to make them stronger.

You may bring a few (2-3) images on a USB drive, CF or SD card,  for composition  discussion.

The DSLR User Group is an informal meeting, run by, and for members, with lots of time for group discussion.  Guests are always welcome!
