"We advance the art and science of photography through technical and aesthetic educational programs and through public service photography."
MEMBERS ONLY
Join us for our June virtual CMPG User Group Meeting, on Thursday, June 18th, from 7-9 pm. We will be talking "Workflow". Think about how you go about processing images and join us to share. We all do things a little (or a lot) differently, so it will be interesting to see what other do. You might learn something that can improve your own workflow, or share something that can help someone else!
Steve Stewart will start the meeting with a presentation that will focus largely on how he uses Lightroom as a “home base” for his post-processing workflow, all the way from importing to exporting, as well as how he integrates Photoshop and several other editing programs into his workflow. Steve will present several example photo projects, ranging from the trivial to the hopelessly complicated, to show ways he has dealt with issues like file naming, documentation, organization, and complexity. This won’t be a detailed Lightroom tutorial, although he will share a few tips and tricks that some casual Lightroom users might not be aware of.
Following Steve’s presentation there will be lots of time for attendees to share their own workflow tips. Do you have a keywording or captioning strategy that you have found useful? Are you one of the many that prefer to keep your entire workflow within Photoshop? Do you use another processing program as a home base? Do you have a workflow specifically optimized for your photography profession or avocation? Please come prepared share your own workflow tips and questions.
A Zoom link will be sent out to those on our email list a few days before the meeting.
