August User Group Meeting: Gerri Jones, "Photographing Refracted Glassware with Reflections"

Join us for an ONLINE, via Zoom, User Group Meeting on August 18th, 7pm. This meeting will not be our usual format of member-lead discussion, but instead will feature speaker Gerri Jones, on the topic of "Photographing Refracted Glassware with Reflections"

This presentation will cover Gerri's guide for success in photographing glassware with colorful backgrounds.  An in depth technical guide with tips on how to set up with best lenses and minimal equipment, which most everyone has on hand.  No fancy studio lighting is required for beautiful images you can create using her technique.

About Gerri Jones:

Gerri enjoys photographing all subjects and especially the challenge of new ways to see through the creative use of Lensbaby lenses. She is a Lensbaby Ambassador.

Gerri has been a featured speaker/instructor at regional camera conferences including Mike Moats Macro Conventions, Hazel Meredith’s Creative Photography Conferences, New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) Photo Conference and Out of Chicago Conferences. Gerri also instructs in creative photography presentations with camera clubs, in person or online.

Gerri’s images have been featured in several publications, commercial proposals and she also has reviewed several photography books for development by Focal Press Publications. Her images have received several first place awards in national, regional and online photo competitions.
