"We advance the art and science of photography through technical and aesthetic educational programs and through public service photography."
MEMBERS ONLY
Join us for our March General Meeting, Wednesday, March 1st, 7:00pm. This will be a HYBRID meeting. We will meet LIVE at the ELKRIDGE Library. If you can't join is in-person, log in and watch it from the comfort of your home.
Our speaker, Laura Kelehan, has supported the local scientific community over the course of her 42-year career with Nikon Instruments and Carl Zeiss Microsystems. Laura will explore methods of capturing dynamic images using a compound light microscope as the imaging lens and will detail the challenges and rewards of the multiple techniques available to the scientist.
Laura has only recently begun her journey into the world of hand-held photography and tries to utilize her knowledge of optics and physics with a lot of bang-her-head-against-the-wall results. In her words, “It’s fascinating to modify a lifetime of hard core, logic-based imaging into something abstract that speaks to your heart and soul.”
This is a HYBRID meeting. We will be LIVE at the ELKRIDGE Library and on Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the meeting.
