Emily Calkins will be leading our group for an afternoon of holiday cheer! Meet up in front of the Maryland Science Center in the Inner Harbor at 12:30pm. We will then head to the heated Festival Tent for lunch together. After lunch, we will head out for an afternoon of photography. (If you don't want to meet for lunch, we'll meet you in front of the Festival Tent around 1:30pm)
Photography: You will find plenty of great photo opportunities such as holiday decorations and lights, street scenes, skaters on the ice-rink, musicians at the 3:30pm TUBA-CHRISTMAS concert at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, and more! Members will be happy to assist newer photographers.
Admission is free for all outdoor activities. There is a $5.00 Holiday Pass fee to enter the heated Festival Tent (kids under 18 are free). Once purchased, your Holiday Pass is good for the rest of the season, for unlimited entries back into the heated tent.
Parking: Park at SP+ Harbor Court Garage (at 30 E Lee Street, Baltimore, MD 21202) for only $12! The garage is located just across the street from Christmas Village and is open 24/7. Keep your ticket and ask for the discount sticker at the Information Booth inside the heated tent. Look on the website for directions and parking including an app to reserve a spot near the inner harbor.
Carpooling: If you would like to carpool, we can help pair people up. Please let us know if you prefer to be a driver and how many you can take or if you prefer to be a passenger, let us know and we'll try and find you a ride.
Please sign up so we have an idea of how many will be attending. Families and guests are welcome! The venue is open from 12:00 to 9:00 pm, although you may stay as long or as little as you want.
