August User Group Meeting/Outing - Photo Fieldtrip, photographing the moon

UPDATE:  Because of weather, this outing will now be Tuesday, August 20th.

Following up from our July UG meeting on photographing the night skies, we will have a little photo outing to capture the full moon at the Howard County Conservancy, in Woodstock, MD.  Note the exact address in the signup location.  

Please join us to spend some time photographing during golden hour and blue hour around the Conservancy, including the full moon rising.  There will a lot of opportunities in landscape, possibly wildlife, and flowers.  We will finish up with moon images.  We may even bring our light sticks for some fun evening shooting!

Equipment to bring:

• camera
• tripod recommended
• lenses: 
• • for non-moon images - anything from 16mm - 105mm (full frame equivalent)
  • for moon images - minimum 70mm, up to 300mm
