Sail 250
There will be a major event happening in and around the Baltimore Harbor from about June 24-28 as part of the National Celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
CMPG is providing information about this event but will not be organizing a dedicated meet up, due to uncertainties in ship and aircraft schedules. Members are encouraged to attend if you have the time and patience to wait in lines and jockey for prime photo locations.
If you attend any of the events, we'd love to see your images! Submit them and we'll include them in our next slideshow! They do not count towards your "best 5".

Some information from the website:
- All the official events will be free and open to the public.
- The tall ships will be (should be) in position from the 25th to the 28th.
- Most ships will have tours during the day. Long lines will be the norm.
- Some ships will arrive early and some will depart later than scheduled.
- The best time to tour a ship will be o the 23rd and 24th.
- The air show will run both on the 27th and the 28th from 12:00pm until 4 pm.
- Parking will likely be difficult (for example Ft. McHenry will be a prime viewing spot for the flyovers, but will not have any public parking).
- Prepare for hot weather and use the Sail 250 app for more up to date information.
